2020-2021 Jacket Gymnast Season

With fall sports finishing up, it will not be long before high school gymnastics season starts. As of now we are planning on a season. However, we are awaiting some important information from Ohio High School Athletic Association before we can begin. We are waiting for several things to happen before we can start: 1. The yearly high school rules meeting for coaches and judges. 2. The updated gymnastics manual for high school. 3. Any other COVID 19 information/protocol we might need to do or put into place. As with everything in this current situation it can change quickly. Please make sure to sign up on final forms with student and parent emails. I will be communicating using using emails on final forms. Items will also be posted on here as well as Facebook site JacketGymast. As soon as I know any updated information I will pass it along. A couple of things to remember: 1. We will have tryouts: TBA 2. Things will look different then in years before. 3. Please be patient as we are all waiting for answers as to the basic questions. Awards Banquet 2020

This year’s award banquet will be held at El Vaquero in Perrysburg by Churchill’s. Gymnasts and families are welcome. We will be in the side room on the left. You are responsible for your own meal if you choose to order. Sunday, March 15th 5-7 pm

Sunday 2/16/2020 4-6

It has  been brought to the coaches attention that there is a practice for the demo elevate the stage on Sunday at 6p.  Because it’s the week of jv championships and districts, we will adjust our practice to 4-6 pm on Sunday so we do not miss any gym time.  So sorry for the inconvenience

Jacket Gymnasts, we are NOT going to UM because of weather up there. INSTEAD we are going to coach Mykels at 330. Bring a snack to share (cookies, candy, brownies, popcorn topping, etc.) You can drive yourself. If you need a ride let someone know or a coach. We have moms willing to drive you. Let celebrate our win and chillax with our Jacket Family watching some awesome gymnastics. Go Blue!
