Congratulations to freshman Jacket Gymnast Grace Helton for setting a new PHS scoring record on Floor with a 9.5 at the Noah’s Ninjas Meet on Monday 1/18/2021…(beating the previous high of 9.4275 set by Macy Nordhaus in 2005.) The Jacket Gymnast’s TEAM also set the PHS highest recorded team score on that day. (with a score of 141.150) Keep up the Great Work gymnasts!
Jacket Gymnasts are in the middle of collecting blankets for Lucas County Children Services this is their 4th year for this service project. On Sunday, December 1, 2019 Gymnasts had a blanket making work session making tie blankets. Gymnasts will continue to collect blankets at Perrysburg High School during regular school hours. Please consider dropping off an infant to teenage size blanket to a child in need. The gymnasts will be collecting blankets until Friday, December 13th. The Jacket Gymnasts also collected enough food to donated two complete Thanksgiving Dinners with all the fixings. The families also received breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks for the rest of the holiday week off school. The children received meals in place of the free school breakfast and lunch programs. Thanks to the generosity of the PHS Gymnasts others had a wonderful meal and were very thankful to our kindness.
